Many reports have surfaced that installing the Internet Explorer 7 BETA breaks GoldMine e-mail and other areas of GoldMine that depend on Internet Explorer (like the GM+Views, Activity notes, etc.)

This problem is apparently only a problem for users of GoldMine versions 6.7 and prior. GoldMine 7.0 users have reported no issues.

The solution? Uninstall IE7 on any machine you need to run GoldMine 6.7 (or older) on. Make sure IE6 is installed and working and try to resist the urge to try IE7 on that machine until you either upgrade to 7.0 or hear that the incompatibilities in the BETA have been corrected.

Personally, I just keep my IE6 updated via windows update and use Firefox (with Adblock!) for my day-to-day web browsing needs.
